Bible Study and Discussion: What Were You Born Into?

We spent Advent talking about the scandalous nature of Jesus’ birth. We highlighted Mary’s predicament, Joseph’s willingness to put his character in question, the inn keeper’s choices, and the purpose of the Baby in the manger. All these highlights focused on the social climate of what Jesus was born into. Now, we will move back through His genealogy in order to understand His inheritance.
