Charlie Fuller Obituary

Charlie Fuller, 78, a resident of Blythe Island, Ga., passed away in his home, surrounded by loved ones, on July 20, 2022. He was born Jan, 16, 1944, in Tyler, Texas, to Raiford and Claudia Fuller.

Charlie was raised in Jacksonville, Fla., graduated from Georgia Southern University, and then obtained his master's degree in criminal justice. from Rollins College. Upon graduation from College, Charlie enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served for three years in military intelligence in West Germany. After the military, Charlie joined the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms as a special agent, and served in South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and the ATF National Academy.

During his time at the ATF National Academy, Charlie was a program manager, responsible for the undercover training of ATF agents as well as many state and local law enforcement officers. Charlie retired from ATF after 23 years of service, but continued his career by teaching law enforcement officers in The International Association Of Undercover Officers using "The Art of Undercover: Techniques & Survival," which is also the title of the book he wrote and published. In doing so, Charlie traveled extensively and trained over 19,000 officers. He was known worldwide as an accomplished and caring instructor.

Charlie leaves behind his wife, Tammy Cirmotich; his daughters, Stephanie Fuller, Kelsey Cirmotich and Lindsey Cirmotich; his son, Adam Fuller; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Charlie did not wish to have a memorial service, but a celebration of his life may be held in his honor at a later date.

He held Sean and the work he does in the highest regard, and you can donate directly to Responder Health in memoriam.
