The threat of AI, you hear about it all the time. In the first responder world it isn’t the threat of Artificial Intelligence, it’s the threat that comes from within,  Alcohol & Infidelity. We have come to accept unacceptable behavior from not only each other, but from ourselves. I can’t be the leader you need me to be, if I can lead myself. When crazy becomes normal, who is left to hold us accountable. The recruitment and retention issue that this profession is facing won’t be solved by signing bonuses of 50-75k. It will be solved by creating a culture within our organizations that revolves around the CARING of the individual. The problem: if you’ve never been cared for and have always been treated as a number, a cog in the machine, you might not know how to shift gears. During our time together we will discuss what it looks like to actually give a shit about the people you work with. That sense of caring can’t take place if you don’t know how to lead yourself well. Tools and techniques will be presented that will allow you to transform the culture of YOU and in doing so, impact the culture of US, Let’s get after it!!!
