Airport Assistance for Elderly Passengers
Hello. My elderly mother will soon be flying alone through a large international airport, and I am trying to arrange support for the whole airport process. She can walk without a wheelchair, but long terminals, passport control, baggage claim, and finding the correct exit can be tiring and confusing for her. I will not be able to travel with her, so I would like someone to meet her near the arrival gate, remain with her during the formalities, help with her suitcase, and take her to the waiting driver. Has anyone arranged personal airport assistance for an older relative and stayed informed while the journey was in progress?
