Getting an ISSA Inshore Skipper license abroad
A few friends and I are planning to get our ISSA Inshore Skipper license so we can charter yachts on our own next year. We are looking into training courses in warm locations like Greece or Spain. Has anyone here taken a skipper course in the Mediterranean? How does learning in open sea conditions compare to inland waters, and is it manageable for beginners?

Taking your course directly on the sea is definitely the best approach since you train in the exact conditions you'll be sailing later. I checked out https://www.norinohi.com/home-eng when looking into options, as they run practical courses across the Adriatic and Mediterranean. Aside from the required theory, you get plenty of helm time on open water, which builds real confidence before taking the exam.
