The FATAL 10 Self-Assessment is a short, confidential personal assessment used to address potential risk for negative outcomes. The assessment looks at positive and negative aspects and lifestyle choices and provides survey takers with an overall analysis (low/moderate/high risk) of the findings.
Just because you have scored "low" on the Fatal 10 Self-Assessment, does not mean that you are done with monitoring and correcting mental and physical health issues, especially as a first responder.
The substance for healthy development and functioning are specified using the concept of basic psychological needs for relationships and purpose. To the extent that these needs are constantly satisfied, people will develop and function effectively and experience physical health and mental wellness. Now that you are aware of your current risk factors and future barriers or issues, it is suggested that you work to monitor these issues on a weekly or monthly basis. If you notice any change that indicates negative risk, properly evaluate it, and if necessary, seek professional assistance.
If you have any concerns after this self-assessment, please reach out for help.
